Tambacounda, Senegal
BP 194

Tambacounda is the largest city in eastern Senegal. It lies in the intersection of major roads and has airport service through Air Senegal. It is near the 900,000 hectare Niokolo-Koba national park. Many of our clients come during the peak hunting season from December through April. Major roads connect to Kedougou, a gateway to the Bassari Country of southeastern Senegal. Day trips are possible to this region from Tambacounda.

Our hotel was built in 1973 by Italian architects. It contains 70 rooms of various sorts. Premium rooms are available with air conditioning.

Our hotel grounds are located on a four hectare plot which features a variety of plant and animal life. Click here to hear the sound of the bats and birds at dusk.

We have only two types of weather here in Tambacounda: hot, and hotter. Our swimming pool is a great place to cool off. It has both an adult and a partitioned children's section, with the adult section having a depth of three meters at its deepest point.

Located on the premises is our restaurant and full bar, open daily from 06:00 to 00:30.

Above the restaurant is a conference room capable of holding 100 people, which can be reserved for special occasions.
